I took home 10k in 2009 after taxes. I am single without children.
I have paid income tax since beginning work at the age of 13.
Never have I qualified to be tax exempt. And getting all the taxes back working as a juvenile is a out right lie, it don't happen.
Just because I did not have children means I don't deserve a break. Being single is being singled out to bear the burden.
Only because you don't produce future voters is the price you pay.
