Well, I'm new here, and apparently for good reason, I stumbled upon your blog today, and was entertained with the post I came across (The Idiot Sightings post from April 14, 2010) and decided to explore your blog a little more. Let me begin with saying that I am a liberal, and a proud one at that. However I am open to ideas and agree with some conservative view points (I think Ron Paul does have some good ideas). However I question some of the 'arguments' you make on your blog. The first thing I notice it the image of the Coexist sticker in the upper right hand corner of your page, I LOVE this I completely agree with it's message, even though (as I soon found out) you don't. As I scrolled down I became more and more appalled, it became quickly apparent how soon we forget the wrongs of our past, you have many images about terrorist attacks, all from Islamic peoples, however you seem to easily forget the terrorist attacks by Christians over the centuries, one easiest of which to mention are those done by the extremist group known as the Ku Klux Klan. Not all Christians are terrorists though and neither are all Muslims. Moving right along, you have it in your head that apparently Obama is a socialist, I as a proud socialist can tell you he most surely is NOT. True socialists make Obama look like a conservative, partially due to the fact that he is. And yet again I digress you seem to be a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment (not surprising) and as I'm sure you can deduce, I am for gun control, this doesn't mean I want the government taking away ally our liberties it means I don't want to have to be so scared for my life every time I go out of the house, that I need to go out and buy a gun, and besides, if all you want to do is protect yourself, what do you need a fully automatic weapon for? Moving right along, you have a post about Obama's influence in Libya, which yeah I kind of disagree with as well, but where were you when we decided to help all the uprisings in the middle east? Because what I'm seeing now is it's fine when a Republican president does it, but now when a democratic president does? I'm confused. And one of my favorites is the posts that are apparently anti-gays (if I misinterpreted these I apologize) but my problem here is if you're so scared of big government meddling in your business, then how are you for "big government" meddling in their business? I'm confused again.
